When the Lord began speaking to me with His gentle promptings, I was amazed at how well He knew me. I was a computer technician and dealt with a lot of spyware and viruses at the time. The Lord often spoke to me in technical terms and dialect that others wouldn't understand. An entire sermon would just download into my spirit at once.

For instance, He once showed me how demons are a lot like spyware in a computer. Once you have one installed, it will start to download others (Matthew 12:45). They will tie your system up doing "other" tasks instead of what it should be doing. It will hide deep down in the computer and try to avoid detection or removal. It will pretend it's not even there. It will often leave the host or computer in a broken mess. Even once it's removed, it will come right back if proper precautions are not taken (Luke 11:24).

It's amazing how many people are in the world, yet God knows each one of us just like that. He speaks to us in a way that we understand. Whether you know Him or not is irrelevant, for the Lord knows all about you, and He will prove it if given a chance. God knows your heart and your real motives, and He won't waste time entertaining those who aren't serious.

God will pass over a million people to get to the one who is serious about seeking Him. We are all individuals, and we don't need to be like anyone else for God to adore us. We are free to be ourselves. It's not about praying a lot of words. For often, when in His presence, you don't have to say a thing.

Today, know that God looks on your heart (1 Samuel 16:7). He knows where you are and why you act the way that you do at times. He understands you because He created you. You are His child. So make room in your day to spend a little time with the Lord. Rest in His presence. One in a million will pay the price and actually seek His face instead of His hand. Become one of them.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose to seek You today. Please don't pass me by. Refresh me with Your Spirit and give me a clear vision for my life. Lead me into divine encounters, and let me be a witness of Your power on the earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
