He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:10-12 WEB.
We drove from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to Long Beach, California, during our last big road trip. We traveled over 2,800 miles on Interstate 40, driving entirely across the United States, from the East Coast to the West Coast. It was a fun trip, and we got to see the heart of the country. I also fell in love with Texas, with its warm, friendly people, high-speed limits, and the best steak I've ever eaten.
When we finally arrived in California, we could only see South Carolina in our memories. I was a long way from home, and I thought of this verse, "As far as the east is from the west." Though we had only driven across the United States, I could see that the East is undoubtedly a long, long way from the West.
Likewise, when you repent, your sins are not just forgiven. They are removed from you. They are placed not just across the room but as far as the east is from the west. Your stains are gone, your old chains are gone, and you have been set free from them. The only way you can see those past mistakes is by looking back at your old memories. If you mention them again, God will not know what you are talking about, for His forgiveness is complete. So leave the past in the past and live your future in the freedom of Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your forgiveness. You are so good to me, and I appreciate it. Please send Your Comforter to me today, Lord. Fill me with a new zeal, and speak to me and through me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Amen and Amen, this I pray, but not only for me, but also for my cousin and her son as he's going through chemo; and Heidi, facing many additional health problems and severe anxieties in regards to her workplace and her beloved brother Sasha, who's been missing for so long; and for my entire family as we are hanging on to the Lord God most high and His plan for all of us, who has made us a family and giving us so much comfort knowing that we are not alone in this, and last but not least, I'd like to include all the ones that are alone without any family support and love, that they may feel the love of God, our Heavenly Father, who loves them so much with an eternal and everlasting love, blessed be HIS name!!! π
