The Dead End

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalms 32:8 WEB.
When the Lord was ready to start something new in our life, He began by closing out the old, which happened to be our computer business. It caught us off guard and was a bit scary. We tried giving more, praying more, fasting more, and serving more, but nothing seemed to help.
So we decided to do "this," but "this" turned out to be a dead-end. Then we decided we would do "that," but "that" went nowhere either. Each time we were about to give up, something new would appear to give us a little hope, but it would turn out to be a dead-end.
Eventually, the Lord opened the door we were supposed to go through and pushed us into His service. It turned out great, but the transition was horrible. The weeks were filled with worry, struggle, and despair, which all turned out to be for nothing, for He was taking care of us. We just couldn't see it yet. God was working behind the scenes, and He had to close down part one before He could begin part two.
When you face one dead-end after another, know that God is about to bring something new to your life, and it will be good. The chaos going on in your mind will all be for nothing. He has not forgotten about you. It is just a transition to something new and better. Facing dead-ends is part of the process.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me see past the dead end and know that You are working behind the scenes. I know the plans You have for me are good, and the right door will soon open. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Heavenly Father, please help me see past the dead end and know that You are working behind the scenes. I know the plans You have for me are good, and the right door will soon open. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!! God is always good and always on time.He will always provide for His people, sometimes He will test us to see if we are paying attention but when the test is over we will be victorious as long as we keep our minds centered on Him and wait for His blessing!!

Thanks for another encouraging post. I'm facing those closed doors, one after another. This one! This is what God has for me! I tug at them, push and rattle the door handles but they still won't open. It is frustrating. It is exhausting.
Lord, I need your help.
Show me the door that you have for me. Make it obvious for I am not only a sinner but a dummy. Put love and joy and your purpose back into my life I pray.

Amen, Amen. When we have a decision to make, I pray "What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open: “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me." He has saved us from making wrong choices so many times.

I tried for so long and so hard to keep a door open that in my heart I knew had to close… now I wait on the Lord who is already opening doors that sit right in my spirit. Thank you Lord for the strength and perseverance to not try and open the wrong door again.
