Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 WEB.
A wealthy friend of mine once picked up his daughter's car to take it in for an oil change while she was at work. After He had been gone for a long time, she became anxious and worried about them both. But she was happy when her dad returned late that afternoon, driving the new Mercedes he had bought her.
Her new car was much better than her old one, and her anxiety during the interim was all for nothing. While she was busy worrying, her dad was busy upgrading her car.
Change makes us uncomfortable, and we often resist it, but to make way for the new, the old must go away. If you want a better car or job, the old one usually has to go first. We like to know what is going on and for the swap to happen all at once. We prefer to trade our car for another one on the same day, not give up the old one and then wait. We like to plan our next job before we leave the last one. Yet, God often brings change differently.
In my experience, God will clear out the old first, then bring in the new afterward. This transition can be scary for us because of a gap of uncertainty. It will test your trust and character while you live through it, but it will all make sense once done. Later, you will see that it could not have been planned any better when you look back on it.
When faced with unemployment, I have often wondered, "Well, what will I do now?" But He always managed to take care of me, and eventually, the next door would open. So cheer up. What you have lost is not gone. Think of it as being upgraded by your Father. Be thankful He is taking care of it for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You so much for remembering me today. I need You more than ever. Please straighten out my thinking, speak to and through me, and put me where I need to be. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

One more thing in addition to the above comment as i am thanking Pastor Dion for posing the question today toward the end of our prayer meeting in regards to the world and how the world perceives us being the disciples of Jesus Christ answered by John 13:34 "loving one another"!!! - LOVE, being the greatest gift that we can give and receive "1.Cor. 13:13"!, then comes John 3:16 "For God so loved the world"! HE loved us first and gave His only begotten Son, and as HE, our Lord and God, poured out His precious love toward us, we can do no less to love Him right back!! I see it as if He, the Lord himself, made a huge and priceless deposit into a bank account for us and as we are filled up with so much love "we can do no less than to love one another"!! Thanking the Lord with all of my heart for leading me to my RHM family!!! ❤️
