At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase. Daniel 4:36-37 WEB.
Nebuchadnezzar was a great king who ruled over most of the known world during his life. He had conquered many nations. He had great dreams, and he built huge palaces. Then he became very prideful over all that he had accomplished. The Lord warned him about it in a dream, and the prophet Daniel interpreted it for him. Yet, Nebuchadnezzar refused to listen or correct his course. So at the height of his power, it was all suddenly taken away from him.
Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind and wandered about the fields eating grass like an ox. His hair grew as long as eagle feathers. His fingernails became like bird claws. After seven years of this, he lifted his eyes to heaven, and his mind was restored, and then his kingdom. Though Nebuchadnezzar had allowed pride to mess up his life, when he humbled himself before God, he was restored, and he became even greater than before.
There was a time in my life when I was pretty sure that I had wrecked the plans that God had for me. Yet, He is a God of restoration. The Lord can take the broken pieces of your life and make them into something beautiful. It's not too late. Though we can't change what happened yesterday, we can choose our actions today. That will begin to shape our future.
If you've ever had a dream shattered, know that God can restore it. He can help you put it back together. It's not gone, just delayed while we get a bit more polished and able to handle what He is giving us. The Lord's delay doesn't mean His denial. The longer the wait, the greater the blessing that comes.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please give me new hope and a fresh vision. Restore the dream that You have for me, and make it a reality. Lead me into new things, and help me balance my attitudes during this time. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
Note: For those interested, we will be celebrating today at our Wednesday morning prayer service at the usual time of 10:30am EST! This is a short service, about 15-20 minutes, where we pray together for any needs you bring forth. Hope to see y'all there! As always, if you have a prayer need, we are here for you! We and the prayer team are ready to lift you up at our private prayer page: RHM Prayer Network.
AMEN, Pastor!!! Shattered dreams - we all had shattered dreams, not speaking of myself, but thinking of our children and grandchildren! We want the very best for them to be situated for the rest of their lives, even when we are no longer around them, to make the right decisions, seeking the Lord first, but most of all that "they believe in the Lord", having a strong faith! Our grandson always talked about his dream to have his own family, believed in God, knew that Jesus was the only way, but then went his own way no longer listening to well meaning good advise or counsel by his mother or his grandparents!! Oh, if we could only keep our loved ones, being adults now, from making the wrong decisions, instead of seeking the Lord first, and then having to live with the consequences which not only affect them but each and everyone around them and especially the little ones!!! Only GOD can restore, only HE can! And what about the other person, exercising his or her "free will", not willing to change? Only God can! I still hope with all of my heart and pray that we can finally say "But HE meant it for good", because nothing is impossible for Him!! 🙏
Lord, you have blessed me throughout my life over and over again. There were time that I've been ungrateful and didn't count some those blessings. During my life you've given me many wonderful things, and I've lost many as well. This hurts but I'll never forget what it taught me. Thank you for everything Father. I bow down to you and I am humble. Amen ❤️
Good morning, y'all, praying you have a wonderfully blessed Wednesday! 🌻💛🙏

Good morning to all of you!
Have a blessed Wednesday!
Heavenly Father, Remind me the Blessings you have given me, for that I am content. Lord, give me the Peace and Strength for the new things you will lead me into, my life. Help me to understand it is your Will not mine. Help me to let loose the things of this World and to cling to the Promises you have gave us and only you Father, can make happen! In your Precious name, Jesus, Amen!

Amen! I love this. Life can definitely be a challenge at times. We want so badly for our family to all know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour but our hands are tired. There is only so much we can do to help them get them, especially if they are not listening or turned away from God. I pray for all of our family members to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and be baptized for the remission of their sins,
